Building on QBE’s existing medical products designed for SMEs and Corporates, QBE Insurance has partnered with Safe Meridian to launch Globalis, a new international health protection plan designed to satisfy the needs of individuals, families and companies seeking comprehensive international medical insurance cover.
“Our objective with Globalis is to provide people with the right plan for their particular circumstances at the right price. Globalis is designed to give customers access to a suite of plans with a high degree of flexibility, including eight discount plan options. This allows an unparalleled amount of plan personalisation and also provides customers with the opportunity to reduce their annual premium, as they are free to customise their cover,“ said Karl Hamann, Chief Executive Officer QBE Insurance Singapore.
Globalis group and individual plans offer the same plan design options and the same benefits, making conversion from a group plan to an individual plan straightforward. Other features include the ability of each family member within a family plan to subscribe to their own plan design and their own choice of options. Globalis also includes travel benefits for either work or holidays, including cover against travel delays and trip interruption as well as lost or stolen personal belongings.
“Globalis also comes with a No Claim Discount. For customers enrolled under the Globalis Silver, Gold, and Platinum plans, the first claim-free policy year will be rewarded with a 10% discount on their next policy renewal premium,” said Hamann. For each subsequent claim-free policy year, customers will receive an additional 5% discount on their renewal annual premium, up to a maximum 25% discount.
Globalis is available to applicants and intermediaries worldwide.
