Awesome Air Evac, situated at Lanseria International Airport in South Africa, achieved their European Aeromedical Institute (EURAMI) accreditation on 8 November 2017, being only the second air ambulance in South Africa, and the fourth in Africa, to achieve this status.
Accreditation was awarded in the Fixed Wing category with medical endorsement in Adult Critical Care. Being awarded EURAMI accreditation is testament to the high standard of the quality management systems and processes which are fundamental to the operation of Awesome Air Evac.
