Gilbert Chahine is appointed Chief Executive Officer of AXA Partners, the entity of the AXA Group Innovation Business Unit dedicated to designing global insurance and assistance services solutions; to deploying them via the entities of the AXA Group and for business partners via third party distribution. The appointment will be effective on June 1, 2018. Prior to this appointment, Gilbert Chahine was Chief Executive Officer of AXA Egypt.
Guillaume Borie, AXA Chief Group Innovation Officer welcomes this appointment, "I am delighted to welcome Gilbert Chahine as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AXA Partners, in the AXA Group Innovation Business Unit. AXA Partners is expected to play a key role in the design and deployment of insurance and associated services required to strengthen the role of insurers. We are in fact preparing to accelerate the implementation of the AXA strategy that consists in going from « payer to partner », as we deploy our innovative solutions to the largest number, and mainly in the sector of Healthcare, mobility, the collaborative economy and in support of our SME clients."
Before joining AXA Partners, Gilbert Chahine contributed to launching AXA’s business in Egypt, where he was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2016. He therefore brings his entrepreneurial spirit, pragmatic vision and his ambitions focused on a revisited and simplified client experience.
