Nuffield Health announces the appointment of Kevin Thomson as New Business and Market Development Director. Kevin re-joins Nuffield Health to take responsibility for developing new business in corporate and insured private healthcare markets, working across preventative, primary and secondary care service delivery models.
Kevin first joined Nuffield Health as Head of Integrated Operations in 2009, aligning clinical services within our corporate fitness and wellbeing centres. Over six years, Kevin worked in a range of differing roles, including Regional Director and Business Development Director. He was also the organisation’s first Head of Employee Wellbeing, focussing on strategic corporate healthcare issues. He was instrumental in the development and mobilisation of our first consumer and corporate connected healthcare sites, driving delivery of the holistic healthcare the organisation prides itself on.
In 2016, Kevin moved to BMI Healthcare, where he was Head of HealthFirst and focused on extending and growing BMIs delivery of corporate healthcare services in conjunction with the relevant clinical leads.
Now back at Nuffield Health, Kevin will focus on growing the organisation’s existing portfolio of services to enhance and extend connected healthcare across its key service lines, including health assessments, emotional health, physiotherapy, occupational health and corporate and consumer fitness & wellbeing services.
Commenting on his appointment, Kevin said: “I am really pleased to be back at Nuffield Health and I’m looking forward to growing our connected health proposition to a much wider audience. Nuffield Health is best placed to provide extended employee, patient and member pathways, with the ability to provide a truly connected healthcare proposition.”
“I am excited to be joining a strong team and continuing to drive forward the great work Nuffield Health deliver, while expanding our customer base to deliver a service which views all customers and clients as individuals.”
Jenni Wilson, Corporate Partnerships and Sales Director at Nuffield Health, adds: “It is wonderful to welcome Kevin back to the organisation. He brings with him not only a wealth of knowledge and experience but a passion for and understanding of our purpose as a not-for-profit independent healthcare organisation.”
